Man the lifeboats! It's out in just two weeks and you're about to drown in a tsunami of Grand Theft Auto IV print, television and billboard advertising.
Thanks to the international chaps at NeoGAF who've yet again come up with the goods, below you can find a collection of the most impressive GTA IV adverts from across the world.
From Los Angeles billboards to gigantic painted building murals in New York and Italy, it looks like it'll be almost impossible to miss.
Unfortunately though, Rockstar tells CVG that it has "no plans" to erect any New York-style Niko-painted buildings in London. Maybe they expect we'll all be buying it anyway and they don't have to?
If you do happen to spot a cool GTA IV ad on the street, or the side of a bus, snap it and send it in.
I have a very general rule about games and films: the more its advertised, the worse it is.
Now, obviously, this doesn't apply to everything, but it tends to show (in my opinion) that they are making up for something.
Or desperation to sell it, the worse kind of ads are those ones where they ask people coming out of the cinema what they thought and show all the good comments as an ad, that kinda kills a film for me, if I see an ad like that for anything it devalues it for me. But I have to admit these GTAVI ads are pretty cool the mural and the ad with the girl licking the lollypop are the best! Prob come out as posters at some point like the trainspotting posters.
Nice to see the UPS truck in front of one ad...no doubt returning a batch of 360s back from their RRoD repair in time for GTA launch. My 360 is ready for its return from its holiday aborad now so hopefully it will be back (and working) by the time HMV post me my GTAIV.

I have that lollipop one as a wallpaper on my desktop atm.

This is why I waited til' today to buy my 360! If it does go bang, at least I will have finished GTA.. I hope!
Ach you'll be fine, i've had mines for 2 years now and no problems. However, now that i've said that...
Check my gta fansite (in the sig), and go to my misc gallery, as I have quite few of these ads and more in there (unfortunately I can not upload these new ones yet as my relatives computer spazes when uploading photos to my site; but they, are on my news page/home).
I think these look cool. I'm a big fan of the art direction for this GTA (I really don't understand why people are whining about the game's graphics in some threads). Some posters would be nice.
