If you read issue 100 of the magazine you'll know that as well as giving us the skivvy on TimeSplitters 4, Free Radical boss Dave Doak also told us that if we could drum up enough support, they'd remake TimeSplitters 2 in HD.
We've already had over 50 emails, but that's not enough; send a mail to us at psm3@futurenet.co.uk with the subject 'Splitters HD' to show your support.
Or, if you're feeling particularly enterprising, set up an online petition or blog to plead the cause.
Imagine classic Splitters 2 multiplayer, but online with sexified HD visuals.

I know.. i've got sooo many shooters. I haven't played splitters for more than about 20 odd mins so i can't really say much, but i may send an e - mail anyways. I'd much rather they were more focused on the new one or something.
Yeah all these promises but very little action, i don't mind infact it gives me a good laugh but i am looking forward to another podcast.
1. Timespitters 2 was the first FPS to give me motion sickness, and I've experienced it with almost every console FPS since, so no, I don't want it re-released in HD thanks.

I'm actually replaying TS2 at the moment in lieu of anything worth buying on PS3, and it's still as good as ever, although the Robot Factory level is still extortionately difficult and the sound of zombies clawing at me from behind still s**ts me up...
Online would be ace though, so I'll send an email in.
I'm not sure if I want Splitters 2 in HD. We all know Free Radical are working on Timesplitters 4. Maybe they would be better concentrating their efforts on that. I feel the window of opportunity for a Splitters 2 re-release has come and gone.
Actually this would be a great way for Free Rad to drum up business for TS4. I say do it - PSN has plenty of room for TS2 HD and as a reasonably priced dl it could make a big splash.
Please Please Please let it happen Splitters 2 was a classic and hard as nails unlike the walk in thye park FPs are at the minute and all the stupid challenges like fighting off wave after wave of zombies, or collecting bannas as the monkey were a good laugh.
