If you read issue 100 of PSM3 magazine you'll know that as well as giving the skivvy on TimeSplitters 4, Free Radical boss Dave Doak also said that if we could drum up enough support, they'd remake TimeSplitters 2 in HD.
PSM3 has already had hundreds of emails, but it's not enough; send a mail to this e-mail address to show your support.
Or, if you're feeling particularly enterprising, set up an online petition or blog to plead the cause.
Imagine classic Splitters 2 multiplayer, but online with sexified HD visuals.
We're also creating a Facebook group, so join the PSM3 group (search for 'PSM3' in groups) for a link and more information about the campaign.
Re-make it now. I used to have this on PS2 and me and a mate nearly completed the campagain on hard and this game was one of the reasons I got a multi tap but with my four lovely wireless pads and the ability to play online this could be the greatest re make ever.
ahh, to put a hd bullet to the face of Duckmandrake, on wii I would like to see that but I would rather a new TS game just online version that I can download via PSN/XBL
If it was online it would be well worth it. HD upgrades of old games have to have other extras to make me interested. Obviously, I wouldn't consider Wipeout HD unless it had online races and leaderboards. Luckily for me, it has.
Duckmandrake what a quality character. Think of the online with duckmandrake killing the monkey then having a stone gollem mow him down with twin miniguns.
one that sees every exsisting copy of this game collected and blown up to easy listening sounds of alanis morrisete.
certainly not one that resurrects this poor excuse for a FPS. and im not settling for TS2 jus cause I can't have goldeneye.
where was your petition for that?
Goldeneye, great as it was in the day, just has NOTHING on games like TS2. If goldeneye was the fps equivalent of my first schoolboy love, then TS2 is the first time i saw boobies for real. It's THAT GOOD.
If u really think about it, or go back & play them, the Timespliters game weren't that great, they were extremely linear & had the most boring objectives ever seen in any game. But i did like the cartoony character design.

Agreed single player they weren't that great. but in terms of multiplayer, I cannot remember having more fun than the first time I played the virus tag mode, and online with 4 players per box is quite simply drool inducing.

I really liked the single player and the way that the levels got bigger with more objectives to complete if you put it on harder levels and not just giving me bad guys who were harder to kill and a better shot (here's looking at you halo, COD, GOW)
There has been too much of a lurch to ultra-realistic shooters of late. Where is the arcadey goodness of TS2 multiplayer? I can't tell you how many evenings and weekends some mates and I wasted playing that back in the day.
I'll happily do whatever I can to help make TimeSplitters 2 HD a reality.
Timesplitters 2 was awesome. I'd love to see them put out a Wii version with even better controls. In fact, TS2 is what my dev team's current development is inspired by.
Put it on Xbox Live Arcade for 800 Points (sounds fair), PSN optional, add achievements, leaderboards and online multiplayer and BAM! License to print money.
TS2 is one of the all time great FP shooters. The inspired character design, brilliant sense of humor and the single player was great fun and designed not to get over complicated. Multi-player was the best bit though, ahhh split-screen 2 to 4 player endless fun.
SO HD from the PSN, yes please.
Best Character : Gingerbread Man!
P.S Whats the point of the Wii version? Isint the whole idea the fact it is in High definition.
