New Crash Bandicoot parodies iPhone

Mind over Mutant on 360, Wii, PS2, PSP and DS at the end of the year
Vivendi has formally revealed its new Crash Bandicoot adventure, Mind over Mutant, which will be out on Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, PSP and DS at the end of the year.

In a blatant parody of the iPhone craze, the story has a rejuvenated Neo Cortex taking over the world with a, "text-messaging, do-anything device which controls both mutant and bandicoot minds".

The new game apparently takes a more free-roaming stance than before, and features an interesting monster capture system which lets you use the abilities of enemies and train them up in your pocket. It's all gone a bit Pokémon...

It's looking very nice on Xbox 360 as well. Judge for yourself below...

Why Crying or Very sad The old games were so good, and although i haven't played Crash of the Titans i can't say i'll be looking forward to what was once my favourite game character. Why not make a 3D normal platformer, like Jak and Dacter for example, without weird catches.

Indeed! A proper old-school Crash Bandicoot game with decent controls and all tarted up would do me nicely.

No extra characters, no spaceships, just me, a marsupial, appley things, crates and the awoobana head thanks.

Crash of the titans was ok tbh. I hate platformers, but my gf bought it and I could tolerate it for more than an hour so it must be ok Smile.
