A demo of the excellent looking Unreal Engine QTE-fest The Bourne Conspiracy has gone on the North American Xbox Live Marketplace, with a European version promised for next week.
The mega book and movie crossover (sans Matt Damon) focuses on hand-to-hand combat, quick-fire QTE sequences and driving Minis through Russian streets like a mad man.
Of course if you've got a US Live account you can probably get at the 360 demo now, but if you're a little more patient (and multi-platform) there's a PlayStation Network version arriving this Thursday, according to a post on the official PS3 forums.
Ive just tried and the demo is locked for gold members only, further more trying to use a 48 hour gold card you get free with gams doesnt unlock it. Guess ill have to wait for (hopefully) a ps3 version (hopefully) today.
Fight Night + Stranglehold + a touch of God of War + MAYBE a touch of NFS: Most Wanted = Bourne Demo.
This demo is the HOTNESS! You will die a lot, which will get frustrating, but it's so much fun! The only other frustrating part of this game is the long loading times when you die and retry.
Just played this, its pretty damn impressive, if you love the movies your gonna love this game its even got the music from the films although the story all based on the books. The fighting system is pretty solid, but the shooting system could be cleaned up a little bit so you can get into cover a bit easier. I was going "wow!" throughout the whole thing. I found this alot harder than expected, I died ALOT, but its a really good demo. I tested the PS3 version but i'm gonna test the xbox 360 version now and see if its any different and edit this accordingly.
