WHAT another delay by Sony!!! Shocking I'll add it to the large list!! This is starting to become a bit of a joke, maybe they'll learn and make the PS4 developer friendly! In the mean time I'll just keep using the PS3 as a Blu Ray player and the 360 for games.
Apart from MGS4, this year for PS3 is getting pretty poor. Sequels to the two launch titles, especially Resistance 2, will not be very interesting for me. LittleBigPlanet is a flashy XBLA title - nothing more. Haze...God don't get me started on that, it looks terrible.
If I'm honest, I'm only looking forward to Gears 2 this year, and maybe Alone in the Dark if it is done well. If Resi 5 can make it this year then that's one more.

I love all the people who come on here saying another delay. For it to be a delay it has to have an official release date to start with and it has not. Plus anyone with any business sense would realise it would be a PR disaster to release such an important title at the same time as Resistance 2, LBP, Motorstorm 2 and the possibility of Home. When push comes to shove they have to make their money back hence why M$ are only releasing GOW2 without any other decent 360 titles within sight of it.

With that said, it's a shame my PS3 won't be seeing new games for a while. And I think it's starting to get sick of just seeing Blu-Ray and DVD's.
Sony really need to get their act together now. 2007 was mediocre and if they let 2008 go the same way then the incentive to buy/keep a PS3 is really lacking. I've got all the systems and whilst I am now playing Assassins on PS3 it is only simply because I got it dirt cheap. Otherwise the 360 is taking up most of my game time. Shame really for Sony, but they really need to stop promising what they can't keep (e.g., 1080p gaming on PS3, which is virtually non-existent as most games only run at 720p).
i was looking into seriously buying a PS3, As my 360's disc drive has just packed in. (but is being repaired for free)
I can honnestly say the game line up really , not that hot.
I think we all know that metal gear is going to be a huge game (unless the developer has really lost the plot) but other than that i cant justify paying Ł300 for the promise of great games
after seeing the screenshots of Killzone 2 its understandable they postpone the launch as its really not that impressive. I think Gears of War looks way better.
i did laugh when i read the headline. I must admit that I was intrigued when i first saw it but after all the delays i gave up hope.
Isnt it being released near the time of resident evil 5 and...(i know it wont happen but) Final Fantasy 13.
If thats the case because i expect resi to slip to early next year then kill zone will be off of my shopping list.
and ill still be playing gears 2 in any case.
Quite sad to see KZ slip again though, after all the hype, the new data on ps3 sales....why are people buying from a company who keep kicking them in the teeth ? It is a nice dvd player though

Killzone 2 has been delayed plenty. It's obviously complete s**t and they know it and are scrambling to fix it which won't happen. It won't "own" post holiday sales as I doubt it will come out before fall of 09.

im not really too disappointed, sure i wont be playing it till next year, but mainly because the new date isn't actually new, www.game.co.uk had killzone 2 for february '09 release for months now.
Yech! They really needed to push a christmas release to hope to get a foothold on the market around then, but february is NOT a good time to launch, GoW2'll have gained too much popularity by then.
Of course, as a 360 "fanboy" it might sound odd to promote KZ2, but hey. Or meh. People on the internet like that word for some reason.
I'm kinda glad about this. Don't get me wrong I am really excited about this game, but i need to save money. There's already loads of games coming out this year that i want; MGS4, Haze, Final Fantasy XIII (possibly), GOW2, Warhammer Online, the list goes on. Oh and its my birthday in february so i won't have to buy it anyway.
