EA Take-Two bid deadline passes

Passes without any deal taking place...
The deadline set by Electronic Arts for Take-Two shareholders to accept its bid has passed without any deal taking place.

EA had put the deadline in place following the initial rejection of its offer from Take-Two's board. By end of day Friday, no announcement was forthcoming from either company, although EA sometimes releases important statements on Sundays

One reason for the shareholders reluctance may be the present stock-price of Take-Two - at $27.10 it's over 5% more than EA's offer. Shareholders may be waiting for EA to come up with a better offer.

The shareholders have probably been too busy riding around in their newly purchased speedboats to have considered the deal.

Good, now fack off EA, GTAV with Gap instead of Perseus & Dodges instead of Sentinels we do not want, & you can keep your DJ Bollockchops & we'll keep our Iggy.

While we're on the subject you can stick Rock Band up your bum hole too, don't you know there's a credit crunch goin' on?

(Bad Company looks good though.) Embarassed
