New Prince of Persia nameless

Ubisoft has debunked rumours that the new Prince of Persia game will be called Heir Apparent, stating that no name has officially been announced.

As we reported last week, a sneak preview of the latest Game Informer magazine had previously alluded to the new title. But a moderator has since posted on Ubisoft's official forums stating that 'Heir Apparent' is the name of the article and has nothing to do with the game itself.

Despite this, the new Prince of Persia game is still on track for a release sometime this winter. Based on this preview of the art direction, we can't wait.

Personally, I hope its *Not* called Heir Apparent.

Simply because thats a bloody awful name.

I just hope they're been studying the GOW series for ideas on improvements. God of War style battles and bosses mixed with Prince of Persia's platform elements could be something special. I just hope there's a tight storyline to go with it.
