Here is the first trailer for the new-age Prince of Persia, bringing a new-look ninja prince to PC, 360 and PS3.
The movie-esque trailer doesn't show any in-game gameplay, but it does give you a glimpse of the Prince's mystery female apprentice as she kicks snot out of some evil creature dudes in a hellish open environment. Yeah!

Been readin about this one in the latest edge mag *dont worry i washed my hands after* sounds like a good concept in the free roaming & opening area's of the world by cleansing the corruption. doesnt look very POPish, but i like the cell shaded gritty art style, deffo one to watch.
I like the way this is turning out as a game, but am I the only one who misses the time when PoP had more of a cute Disney feel?
i also enjoyed the first PS2 title far more than the subsequent ones. it just feels like all further iterations have lost that authentic persian feel that the first one conveyed in spades. i really wish they'd released the graphically-enhanced original that appeared as a cut down "easter egg" when you finished 'Sand of Time'. it should have been a full-blown game in its own right.
still - looking forward to checking this out. please don't make it as boring and repetitive as Assassin's Creed...
