When I first heard of Spore, I was amazed. A galaxy of unique user-created creatures to meet, befriend and defeat. I asked myself what I'd build... Friendly sentient ETs? Aggressive, warmongering monsters?
No. Like at least 10% of the population, I realised I wanted to build a GIANT COCK.
So I did. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the world's first Spore penis. I know it's not perfect - I'm not convinced that the measles look is necessary. Nor am I happy with the density of its organic thatch.
I hope these are the things that will be filtered from actually appearing in my game. Its fine if someone wants to make it but it would really annoy me if my normal creatures are killed by a tribe of giant c**ks.
I wonder how this impacts on ratings? I imagine Spore wants to be a family game but if there are c**ks jumping around the place that might not be possible. You can't call characters "Penisfacemcf**kpants" in games so it would be a bizarre double-standard if you could actually make your character look like a c**k. Maybe the devs will have to have a moderation system whereby potentially offensive creatures wouldn't populate other people's game worlds. I know that players will be able to rate creatures but many might enjoy the stupidity of a race of c**ks and it might not prevent them from cropping up all over the place... :S
k**bs have a strange place in the male psyche. We've all got one (well, the vast majority of us have one) and yet we still like to draw them on things, make them out of Blu Tack and now build them in Spore.
Still boycotting the game due to DRM, but seeing a virtual k**b with a face on it made me s******...

Has anyone heard of or seen the film Teeth? This woman has teeth in her you-know-what and goes around cutting off guys male organs. For something that is nothing but penis, they should be very,very afraid.
