CoD 5 to debut on Xbox 360 Marketplace

See the world premier trailer on Xbox 360 this weekend
Microsoft has dropped us a note saying that the first ever trailer (with in-game footage) for Call of Duty: World at War will be debuting on Xbox Live this weekend.

It says in the press release that the trailer will be "only on Xbox Live Marketplace June 21-June 22", which we presume means it'll be taken down on Sunday, so make sure yohu get in on te action quickly.

"Call of Duty: World at War redefines WWII, challenging players to survive the most harrowing and climactic battles of the Pacific and European theatres," it adds.

Keep and eye for the trailer this weekend, if it doesn't leak before then, like these screenshots.

Excellent, screenshots are one thing but actually seeing the game in action will show us if it's going to stand up to CoD4!

Ooh ! Is that draught bitter, or from a can ? Wink

Should be interesting to see how it all stacks up against COD 4. I'm looking forward to seeing the katana in action.

God i hate it when the put knives in a FPS. Don't get me wrong i love them but i spend all my time dying whilst trying to sneak up on people & knife them. GOW was the same.

Don't sneak up on people then.
I take great pleasure in finding someone trying to sneak up me (or other players) in COD4 only to empty a P90 magazine into them!

What is there to be bitter about? Everyone will see the video which ever network it is on.

iam 100% sure it will match CoD4, same engine just different skin - but it wont be as fresh as CoD4 as we've seen it all!

A whole clip? You're either a sadist or someone with really bad aim as I think the P90 has a clip of 50 bullets.
