We blame PC Gamer. The Spore Creature Creator has not even been available for a week and the YouTube is already full of variations on the cock monster they posted a picture of last week. Is this what Will Wright really had in mind?
There's no doubt about it now; come September, everyone who plays Spore will have their home planet invaded at some point by a bunch of phallic shaped space invaders.
It's going to be a mixture of hilarity and agony, depending on whether you see the funny side in watching a civilisation you created over twenty hours being wiped out by a race who hasn't yet learned to put their ill proportioned penises in their spacesuits.
That said, a number of creations have truly astounded us. The Sporepedia is fast becoming a haven for creativity and imagination, as well as incestuous conjoined twins.
We understand though that with over 15,000 uploads on the YouTube Spore Channel, you might find yourself getting lost. Thankfully, we've pulled out our personal favourites for you to take a look at.

Penis Monster (and winner)
We thought the detail was particularly good on this one. Not just one of the better penises made so far, but it also includes pubic hair and testicles.
Sex Monster
Watch its/their big black eyes widen as they are 'dancing.' Frankly, the amount of thought in this is scary.
Dalek monster
Moving away from giant dicks and on to a biological recreation of the Doctor's most feared enemy. Finding these descending from the skies would be very cool.
Pikachu
This is just incredible. We doubt that even Nintendo could produce something better.
Charizard
Maybe it's just having trawled through so many creatures with certain parts of their anatomy grossly out of proportion, but the care and attention to getting every part of this creature right really impresses us.
F**k monster
Not what you expect. We've played around with the creator for a good couple of hours and we can't figure out how they did this.

Those are hilarious. The last one is my favourite, the f**k worm. So simple compared to the others, but brilliant. Whoever made the Pokemon did great work too.
I saw another one earlier today that was hilarious... it was called segoat. I wont link it, but anyone familiar with the infamous goatse (I definitely won't link that!) will know what to expect.
Haaaaaaa!!! Funniest thing on CVG ever! I love how some of the smartest brains in the world make this beautiful (and incredibly clever) procedural creature creator and we end up with a f**k monster. Absolute genius.
All I can say is HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA! I am still laughing thinking about those. I have reached new lows I feel. That charlizard is excellent though.
I wonder if they will bring in some form of censorship now they see what can be created.
If you download the full version of the Creature Creator one of the pieces are reptilian wings. There are also some feathered jobbies and some butterfly ones as well.
Having tinkered with the demo for ages I thought it would get old quickly. When I d/l the full pack today its like overload, you are completely spoiled for choice and the possibilities are endless.
Do excuse me though, I now have a new penis crafting standard to reach...
Isn't this game online though? I may be wrong I don't know too much about it, but how would they stop the erm, more...imaginative creations being seen by someone of a young age?

This has probably been mentioned before, but does anyone notice a striking similarity between the charizard video and Black&White's creatures e.g. sound effects, creature animations etc? I dunno, maybe EA's has access to B&W2's assets or something.

Also I think this is excellent. I really hope EA don't start censoring people's creations.. The whole idea is to give people a free reign creatively.
Some of this stuff is staggering, makes me wonder if there's anything you won't be able to make in spore. I wasn't that excited, but now I NEED a new PC...
