E3: Tomb Raider: Underworld dated

First proper current-gen quest out in November
Tomb Raider: Underworld will hit UK stores on November 21, Eidos has confirmed.

Those of you of the other side of the Atlantic will get it a few days earlier on November 18.

It's traditional Lara action once again, but this time built from the ground up for our current-gen beasts. Yeah, we've all heard that one loads of times before, but fingers crossed Eidos means it.

"Tipped off by a family friend that her father discovered the co-ordinates of a ruin on the floor of the Mediterranean, Lara grabs a boat, straps on her scuba gear and takes the plunge where she discovers proof that the Norse underworld did exist and Thor's hammer is real," explains PSW is this in-depth preview.

"Most impressive of all is Underworld's genuine 'next-gen' (or current-gen as the PS3 should be known by now) graphical quality, which adds lots of lovely little touches to make this more than just Lara in HD."

As well as PS3, 360 and PC, the game's also coming in altered forms on Wii, PS2 and DS. Look out for a review closer to the time.

Excellent!

Although there's a great line-up for autumn/winter with Gears 2, Fallout 3 and L4D, it'll make a change to get back to some good old puzzle solving; Lara-style.

Looking forward to this!!
