Tom Clancy's HAWX slips into 2009

Flight Sim won't land before Christmas - Hell's Highway also pushed back
Ubisoft has confirmed a delay for Tom Clancy's HAWX into 2009, putting its release somewhere between January and March of next year.

The flight sim was originally scheduled to land in the shops this September, but the publisher's seemingly decided to give it a bit longer in the oven. No official reason was given for the delay.

There's more slippage news from the company too, as long, long coming FPS Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway has also stumbled slightly to September 26, back from August. No doubt that's to make up for the gap left by HAWX.

Ubisoft's Christmas line-up is left with Far Cry 2, BiA, Tom Clancy's Endwar, Shaun White Snowboarding and Prince of Persia. Which one will be delayed next, then?

Makes you wonder what Ubisoft are actually doing right now....

Maybe they're ploughing developers into BG&E2 for a Christmas release.

<shudders>

Damn! Was really looking forward to "Hawks". Maybe they played Ace Combat 6 and decided to give it a little more time to refine it. This is no bad thing.
As great as AC6 is, i don't think it sold very well - perhaps that's why they have chosen to make it all it can be.

I think they released it was a s**t series and needed an overhaul, especially if EA produced a better Skate game, then they knew they were in trouble!!
