We've got a gloveful of shots that appear to from either the PC, 360 or PS3 version of Shaun White's Snowboarding. Sorry, but there's nothing to Wii here.
Here's a clip from Xbox World 360's more recent preview:

"Ever since EA's great SSX series swanned off On Tour back in '05, then maybe experimented with a spliff or two and ended up losing the plot somewhat, we've been bereft of any decent 'boarding sims.
"After all, 360 launch title Amped 3 might have been genuinely rib-tickling in the humour department, but as a recreation of the adrenaline-pumped, massively baggy-panted sport it left a lot to be desired."
Is anybody interested in anything other than SSX? Realistic snowboarding games don't seem to appeal to me like the skateboarding games. Snowboarding needs to be over the top and well, like SSX to work.

Rubbish. People were saying the exact same thing about skateboarding games until skate came out. SSX is wank. I'd much rather have a realistic snowboarding game than another crappy unchanged, over the top SSX. SSX is only snowboarding in skin, not in feel, atmosphere or attitude. It may as well be anything else. Amped 2 is still the king of snow games.
i agree with theideal, ssx is too arcadey, and hasn't changed at all really, this is exactly the same scenario as tony hawk and skate, i was bored of tony hawk by the time skate came out, then after playing skate you realise how crap TH is
The first SSX was good - it was just arcadey enough, not a serious 'sim' but still. Then they decided it would be great if they took their feet off the boards and did physically impossible stunts and I kind of lost interest at that point. 1080 was a better sim but always felt a bit 'dry' to me. This stands a good chance of getting it 'right' - to be arcadey enough to be fun without losing the basics of actual snowboarding.
And the balance board won't really be that much better than a pad unless they give you a couple of straps to tie it to your feet with. It'll still be no more like snowboarding than standing on your ironing board at home and going 'wooooo' <waves arms about while bending over>.
