Don't expect to see I Am Alive at Leipzig...

Ubisoft has told CVG that I Am Alive will not be appearing at the Leipzig Games Convention later this month.

There's no big reason for the no-show we're assured, but we can't help feeling a little disappointed that we won't get to see more.

The title was revealed in a teaser trailer form (see the clip here) and we suspect it's simply too early in development to start showing off so we can immediately start comparing it to Assassin's Creed and Splinter Cell.

Just in case you missed it, I am Alive takes place in a devastated Chicago, where players will be challenged to think, react and take risks that effect those around them. The trailer was mainly about a gang of thirsty thugs.

There's no official release date, but we presume it will with us for Christmas '09.

Update: Ubisoft has since been in touch to tell us that Jade Raymond isn't actually working on I Am Alive in any capacity.
