More hints that a third Max Payne game from Rockstar is in the works have been dropped, if comments made (or not made) by Max Payne movie actress Mila Kunis are anything to go by.
Speaking to G4TV at Comic Con earlier this week, Kunis skilfully dodged the question when asked if she was providing voice work for the unannounced Max Payne 3. "Yeah. Max Payne 9, 7... I don't know," she said.
When pushed again on if she was supplying her voice for a game Kunis, who plays Mona Sax from the game, replied, "sure," and shrugged it off.
Max Payne the film, starring Mark Wahlberg as Payne, is out on October 2008. Rockstar is widely assumed to be working on another game, so don't be surprised if (or when) the press release rolls out.
Max Payne movie actress Mona Sax are anything to go by.
Shouldn't this read:
Max Payne movie actress Mila Kunis are anything to go by
Mona Sax is the character, not a movie actress
Similarly:
Sax skilfully dodged the question when asked if she was providing voice work for the unannounced Max Payne 3. "Yeah. Max Payne 9, 7... I don't know," she said.
When pushed again on if she was supplying her voice for a game Sax, who plays Mila Kunis from the game, replied, "sure," and shrugged it off.
Shouldn't that be:

That is lolsome, what a terrible mix-up to make! Mona Sax is indeed the character from the games and Mila Kunis is the person playing her in the film - which is a shame as she shows zero interest in the games which were awesome.
Is someone putting something in the tea at CVG Towers, because the writing has been appalling over the past few days.
try the last few months. i think they do it on purpose to give us something to go on about in these forums when its a slow news day. either that or they're getting a dyslexic chimp to do their typing.

yeah but she's tidy, plus she voices meg griffin so i can forgive her.
Cool! I am so happy you posted this story after my e-mail to you.
I think she has practically let it out the bag Max Payne 3 is in the works, it's not a huge shock since they did announce it back in 2004, but it would be nice to have these rumours confirmed!

It's been consistently pretty poor since about 2007, but finally people have started to notice it since it got even worse recently.
I swear, not one of these guys would have passed the first year on the BA(Hons)Journalism course I took - and that's saying something as first year is the year they encourage you to put your effort into drinking, not working.
first year is the year they encourage you to put your effort into drinking, not working.
I remember that year well, although they made us take Journalistic Law in the first year and then we never touched on it again which always struck me as odd - surely doing it at the end, or consistently throughout would be better....can't even remember what a 'tort' is now....(or is it a criminal act for which monetary compensation is awarded???)
this isnt a rumour or hint cmon! having getting ask a question saying "sure" and shrugging is not sum1 who is trying to keep a tight lip on things, she was probably just saying that to keep em happy or just to shut em up, hell i bet wallberg didnt even relaise it was a game until sum1 asked him if he had played it.
Max Payne 3 aint comin out anytime soon, im sorry but it just isnt, hate to bring it up again but Alan Wake isnt even sounding like its near done, all theyve done throughout this lengthy wait is say "yup, were still makin it".

Anyway shorthand vs dictaphones....
Yea, we didn't touch 'Law for Journalists' until the third year, and i didn't go to a single lecture or seminar. Didn't pass it either, funnily enough (had to retake a year for that!).
I personally think doing it consistently throughout would have worked far better than going from learning techniques, styles etc... to suddenly throwing hundreds of different laws in front of us and telling us to learn them inside out.
What is even funnier is that in the third year, when we chose which route we wanted to take (web journalism, radio journalism, tv journalism or print journalism) if you didn't take written, you didn't have to learn shorthand. It was at that point I knew i didn't want to be a journalist, so took the easy route and did web.
If it wasn't for the social side, I would certainly consider those 4 years the biggest waste of time ever!
^^ I did it in 3, you must have done a proper degree.
Still we can laugh about it all now can't we now that we're earning loads of cash and working in London for a top flight magazine.
Oh wait a minute....
One thing I did learn via work exp - Journalists don't half love themselves, you get the odd decent ones now and again, but by and large they're right up their own jacksies.

It was a proper BA(Hons)Journalism degree - only reason it was 4 years was because I had to retake a year for the failed Law for Journalists bit! 4 years in Preston - I tell you, that takes some determination.
Oh and as for Journalists and their egos, yea I realised that sad fact soon after joining the course. I made a point of buying the Daily Sport each day and taking it into lectures, while all the other spords had their Guardians and Telegraphs that they would never read, but just carried around with them to give them more credibility.

I didn't half get some looks!
My first run in with a lecturer should have warned me, I was wandering around the 'campus' lookin a bit lost and he asked me what I was doing so I asked him if this was where they did journalism 'Do Journalism??? DO? This is where they TEACH it!'
What a c**k. They can keep their s**t wages and NCTJ pre-entry rubbish, and I'll keep swallowing my bitter, bitter pills.
Only just got your Avatar btw. Peep Show ace but what went wrong with The Mitchell and Webb look?
