Tell her it's ok because Eliza is a lesbian and it's Microsofts way of reaching out to the gay and lesbian community. You feel it's a good cause to support.

imagine charging for a picture or a theme! you would think XBL was free or something. this should be included free (to gold members at least). just search google for a high rez pic. and a decent one, not one shes dressed in some nerdy spacesuit.
Totally agree, I know PSN isn't the best service but at least the wallpapers and themes are free.

Pretty much all of them. You get the occasional free one. Same with gamer pics.
I do the same as lloyddav, I just use my own pictures. At the moment mine is the Playstation logo. The only problem is, it's the same picture for each blade. It would be better if you could have a different background for each one.
Wow that sounds bad.... the fact that you have to pay for a 1-picture theme is mad!! The official themes on the ps3 are free and you can even download loads of them at websites like www.ps3-themes.com from your ps3, which I think are better because there is normally at least 5 different pics in 1 theme!!
