The internet is reporting that the Xbox Experience dashboard will be released some time in November. As will GTA DLC.
According to the unconfirmed reports, the new dashboard will be joined in November by the release of the GTA IV DLC, neither of which have been given official dates.
Furthermore, that DLC will add around 15 hours of play to the game, claims RPG-TV.
The exact contents of GTA's incoming DLC has gone unconfirmed, but we're hoping for at least a new key character in the game to give Niko another story to work through. Even maybe a new area.
The new 360 dashboard revealed at E3 last month brings radical changes to the console's menu system, as well as introducing Mii-like Avatars to 360.
But knowing me, 15 hours means 20+ hours - I'm 70 hours into GTA IV itself, and still haven't completed it!
I'm the same and I think I'm going to enjoy the DLC - but, you have to think that this is maybe being released at a slightly bad time....what with all the other great titles hitting the shelves at that point of the year - will DLC even get a look in?
The only way for this to be exciting is for another area to be opened up, tacking on a few mission is not going to be good enough. 15 hours will probably mean 5!
Its still all to vague to get excited about. 15 hours seems very little and a price tag to reflect it. Has to be a new area, radio station and people for me to wan to buy it!!
15 hours seems very little? 15 hours is longer than most full priced games these days.
Exactly.
15 hours is about right for an add-on. I remember paying up to Ł15-20 for PC add-ons back in the day, which usually lasted 8ish hours if you were lucky.
Again, as I said, it all depends on the price they'll be charging. The max I think I'd be willing to pay would probably be 1200 Microsoft Points. I personally can't see it being 800 MSP.
15 hours additional gameplay should hopefully breath new life into what for me is a fantastic game...yet another great reason to own a 360 and bin the MGS console.
Well 15 hours is a decent length, especially for DLC. Like others have said, I usually take longer anyway so it'll probably push 20+ hours for me!
I hope they add some new content; Go-Karts for the track in coney island, so it becomes a new mini-game event. i.e. race against Roman, Brucie etc.. and it also becomes an online mode; 8 player go-karting!
It would be nice to see some fun injected back in to the game to grab peoples interest again. Tanks, Parachutes, Skateboards, Jet Skis, Casinos, light aircraft/private jet, a new comedy set, fun weapons and vehicles, epic missions like the bank robbery!

Completely agree with this. id like some more content for just messing about in the city more than anything. Give us a flamethrower too.
Oh & how about a cheat to turn police AI off when you just want to mess about for a bit?
I would like to see some updates in the sense of city modifications, like the funfair being opened, new shops and such but I dont think that will happen as not everyone will get the update and it will then split the multiplayer community in half. so its more likely to be new missions and probably a bunch of new races or something.
look at oblivion's shivering isles that was 2100points but added a giant area to the game. if we anything as good as that they its defo worth buying. of course we also tanks, planes, fighters jets, everything that was in SA. Whatever happened to the monster trucks and the cheetah car? mountain ftw!

Try being rubbish at games like me. I can stretch even the most meagre DLC to hours and hours and hours of dying, reloading, dying, reloading, getting a bit further, dying. I think I'll get the most value ever out of this. I can't wait!
I do think they could do it Crackdown style. The keys to the city DLC was THE best DLC I've ever used. It added so much extra functionality and fun and it was totally free. You could buy the extra pack if you wanted and (even better) if only one of you had it, you could both use it anyway. Harpooning crims to a car together? Doesn't get any better than that. And you got an achievement for it, too!
Too late for the DLC and it's being released when there's a lot of quality titles being released. I'm all GTA4 finished and will hopefully be working my way through Fable 2 then. The Episode 1 DLC for GTA4 should have been released at the start of August. Dont make the same mistake with the DLC for Fallout 3.
Still haven’t finished the main game yet. Started getting bored about three quarters of the way through and haven’t found the will to pick it back up yet. It's a pity, because it is a great game, it's just the huge amount of missions are all pretty much variations on the same theme and quickly become dull.
