There's plenty of good stuff on offer too in our five minute clip. If you're game enough to watch people being blown in half in a Mortal Kombat Fatality-type fashion at this time in the morning, hit up the player on your right.
One thing though, tactics are about getting bigger guns...
So many good games. Seriously, are Publishers idiots or something similiar?
They shoehorn in all the games I want to buy within a 3 month period of each other, every year! I think i coud pay easily over £350 on games in between those months.
Still, ill be picking up BIA, the previews ive seen look awesome.

you could always spread your purchases over a period of time, the games wont go anywhere, plus you might end up saving some money that way.

That is exactly what I was going to say.
No-one forces you to buy all the games in that time period, you just feel like you're missing out if you don't buy the game upon release, which is quite silly IMO.
I'm still finding the time to get Motorstorm, now its on platinum, might save me a quid or two.

I know, but for some reason I have to buy the big games I want on release day, I couldnt handle going on Live and seeing some friends playing Gears2 and I dont have it. Stupid? Yes. Will I still buy alll the games I want? Yes. Hello Mr Visa.

I'm the same, i have to buy on release day. It's all part of the game, (excuse the pun) plus if multiplayer is a big part of the new release, you can't just miss out on games with your friends.

I didn't really like the first two games. Something about the engine made them feel clunky. This time around, things look a lot smoother. So here's hoping.
The engine is UE3 and a lot of games including Gears are on UE3 so you're problem is not with the engine...just with the way the weapons have been coded.
I think it's spot on though, love it, can't wait for this, getting it on PC...but I do have reservations about the slo-mo...

Same here. If the slo-mo is kept to a very bare minimum it should work. If it happens with every explosion it will get lame very fast, just like the knock-out views in Fight night!
these guys have a serious problem with overexagerrating things. they go on about it like its going to be so drastic and realistic, then you see it and it looks like ww2 tf2. the first games were a total failure online and i guess it was ok single player. nothing to shout about though.

I'm going to stick my neck on the line and say that these guys are getting excited a bit too early. I think that this will turn out to be average at best. Just don't have a go at me until I am proven wrong. I just have this feeling....

i'm with you. it looks pretty average, plus its WW2 again. not a big fan of underpowered guns and brown scenery which seems to be a must have for these games. was everything brown back then? plus it'll happen all over again next year when COD5 comes out. has there not been enough time yet for a desert storm1 game or a falklands skirmish. or hows about someone brings out a decent vietnam shooter. there's been enough wars and fighting last century for something else to come out with instead of more and more WW2 games.
Im not sure if this game will be all that groundgreaking in terms of the ideas that they're implementing, seems like a natural evolution from the game on xbox. Also the graphics arent stunning either. Still gearbox are a quality developer and the original was good, if a little hard. Haven't heard much on multiplayer which isn't great but still looks like a solid game. Allways nice to see some gore too lol. No point in a fps if it doesnt feel like your actually shooting someone...interesting to see how it compares to world at war, locations in this game arent exactly awe inspiring so far. Lookin at 8/10 accross the board i reckon, maybe not enough this autumn, theres a silly amount of competition, shame looks like they made an effort
Looking good and better than CoD WoW I reckon. Just imagine that dismemberment tech used in the Gearbox Aliens game when a marine gets on the wrong side of some xenomorph acid blood...
