Nintendo has confirmed that Disaster: Day of Crisis will be released in UK on October 24 - two days before previous rumours had suggested.
You play as Raymond Bryce in his fight to survive a series of epic natural disasters that strike the US.
Earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, floods and hurricanes are some of the events that make Bryce's life just a little tougher than the usual.
It was a concept that had us intrigued the moment Nintendo announced it, but we find the game's sudden release - after almost two years of complete silence - worrying.
Please let this be good. Check out the 78 shots we posted yesterday here.
if it does come out in oct shouldent they show some gameplay soon, im hoping this will be good but i have a bad feeling. please please be good cos its the only wii game im interested in this year.
i am hoping for this to be good, as it is original and pretty clever. from the screenshots i have seen, the graphics are impressive for those of a wii game, except for maybe the lava, but we can;t ask for everything. i am hoping that there will be gameplay shown soon, if it looks like it runs smoothly from the gameplay then this will be a guaranteed buy for me. i won't preorder it, but i will buy it soon after its release
I have a really bad feeling about the quality of this game, I doubt it will score more than 70%, don't even have a glimmer of any hope that this game will be any good at all, Nintendo are obviously trying to release this game very quietly indeed, I guess the second party responsible is not going to stay a second party for long!

It's a first party game , and Mario Kart turned out alright.
Hope this turns out well, the trailer from over a year ago looked promising.

Just did a Wiki and your right Monolith Soft is now a subsidy of Nintendo, guess I just thought if I am to be negative then I won't feel let down if Disaster does turn out to be bad, can you see my logic!
As it is the plot looks like it has come from one those straight to TV films, you know the ones that I am on about!

We have little choice but to believe this year . Although Fatal Frame 4 and Wario Land wouldn't go amiss either from Nintendo.
I think the plot offers plenty of possibilities, and it's made by a team with a history of really good RPGs.
Maybe Nintendo think of this as a more 'hardcore player' game so feel that it doesn't need to be advertised as much. Although it doesn't excuse no gameplay clips or real info with only a month from release.
