I have seen in game footage (bored the sh!t out of me).
I had high hopes for this game.
And running @ 720p @ 30 FPS is not good enought.

And when im gamming at 62+ FPS with 99% of games, 30 FPS just dosent cut it...

And when im gamming at 62+ FPS with 99% of games, 30 FPS just dosent cut it...
60, 30, 20 it really doesn't matter as long as its constant! Slowdown looks far worse in my opinion than having a slower but steadier framerate.
They always make the Shots look alot better as they touch em up a bit.
This game is just one big disapointment.
Low res, Low Framerate....Haze like Online, Meh....
How did you get on the BETA........oh your not on it but you know it's a disapointment already.
I agree they do touch up the screens but to slate a game very few people have played is ridiculous.

You speak of the game like you've been playing it that's why i mentioned the BETA.

Errm, i am used to gamming @ 62+ FPS all the time.
So when i have to play games @ 30 FPS i can really notice the difference and it feels ALOT slower.
Just like when i used to play Gears of War on 360 and the PC, Just like CPD 4 on 360/PS3 and then on PC.
And since the PS3 is supposed to be so powerfull, i think they can do alot better....

I really enjoy these Killzone 2 threads as the comments are always thoughtful, intelligent and concise.
I also enjoy prising out my eyes from their sockets with a rusty spoon.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to Killzone 2 just as much as the next (sane/over 15 year old) man. I just wish that you would stop posting stories on this game until next year - so that my will-to-live can at least last until Christmas.

Just to point out 1080p is really techno marketing babble. For a person to see a difference between 1080p and 720p sitting on average 8 feet away from their screen they will need to have a TV with a screen size greater that 60". To say a game isn't worth getting because it's only 720p is moronic.

Very moronic and sadly a lot of Sony Fanbots were moaning about the same thing on the 360 (now the Msoft fanbots are doing the same)and then saying all PS3 games will be 1080p. Christ unless you sit about 1 foot away from a 40 + inch panel you aint gonna see the difference.

And yet sitting really close to my Monitor i can easily tell the difference between 1280 x 720, 1920 x 1080, 1920 x 1200 & 2560 x 1600.....
