Missing in action Sonic creator Yuji Naka is to resurface in ten days with a game "that even penguins can play."

A Japanese teaser site for the first game project from Naka's studio Prope has finally appeared on the internet,
promising a "world first" on the mysterious game - which is being published by Naka's former boss Sega - in ten days' time.

Update: It seems like the game's been delayed before it's even announced. Sega has shifted the goalposts, the site now saying the announcement is in 17 days. That's okay though, we can wait. Update ends.

The site displays little more than a penguin, a blurry television screen and the tagline "world first, the game that even penguins can play." That's it.

Naka hasn't been or heard from in public since our exclusive interview early last year. He left Sega to form Prope in 2006.

Easy to play? Penguins? We're surely not the only ones feeling a hint of Wii all over this. Still, we won't give up our hopes for a Burning Rangers sequel just yet...

Sega UK was unavailable for comment at the time or writing, but it probably would've told us to go away anyway.
