The chaps gather for a natter on the month's pressing matters: is DRM going to kill Spore dead? How mediocre is Crysis Warhead? Standing in for Tom Francis is freelancer John Walker, who gets agoraphobic when he tries to play STALKER. This link will work with any RSS tool, so download it now or we'll think you're a twat.
Awesome as always, especially the steam chat reference!
I do think the Crysis score was a bit low considering the crap we have had with a higher score in the past. Giving a game a bad score for being "the same" is a bit weird, considering it was awesome at first, and still is. But that's just my opinion.
Keep up the good work on the podcast, and make them more often and longer! We need more of your soothing voices to accompany us on dog walks!
I did like the DRM section - with critic as well as consumer alike presenting a united hostile stance to it, surely EA and other proponents of the system will feel the heat more.
The Empire Total War bits were great too, nice to here about the new features.
Started a new game of UFO myself actually the other day. As engrossing and fantastic as it has been every other time I've loaded it up over the last decade and a half
I still want to see you guys actually talk about your review for stalker clear sky, it was incredibly harsh admit it! Yes it's not as good as Shadow of chernobly and the fraction wars doesn't do the atmosphere any favours and yes it is filled with bugs but so was SoC. It just seems odd to mark it down for making alot of the mistakes from the original which you rated so highly, it's the same with crysis.

Crysis was harshly marked for being more bad than good. The mistakes were bad design choices which, in comparison to the original game, make up the majority rather than the minority of the game.
Haven't played Clear Skies, so can't comment on that. But I trust Jim's take on the game.
