The Xbox Live Arcade re-release of N64 classic Banjo-Kazooie will be up for download from November 26, Microsoft has confirmed.
The original N64 game arrives on XBLA two weeks after 360 entry Nuts & Bolts hits the shops, sharing links to the old game through the revamped "Stop 'n' Swop mode", which unlocks new goodies in Nuts & Bolts.
It's also been revealed that -as rumoured - the massively overlooked sequel Banjo-Tooie will also be hitting Xbox Live early next year, so there's a chance for those of you who missed it to have a go.
Both games will be yours for 1200 Microsoft points (about £9). And if you don't want to pay that, the pre-order campaign - which gives you a code to download Banjo for free before Nuts & Bolts' release - is still open for business.

Hell freaking yes! Not overly fussed about the new Nuts 'n' Bolts game (may pick it up on the cheap if it's any good.) But I'm definitely looking forward to the XBLA version of Banjo-Kazooie - probably my favourite 3D platformer.
I never got the chance t play the sequel, so this should do nicely
Will be picking Nuts & Bolts up on day of release, I know ive asked this question before but who in the UK are the retailers offering Banjo as a free download for pre ordering the new game?
£9 isn't all that bad aswell, the price is fully justified by how amazing the game really is.
Considering the first game goes for about a tenner on the likes of eBay, and they're cleaning up the graphics for the XBLA version, then it isn't a bad price at all.
Banjo-Tooie goes for well over £30 - so a tenner is an even better price for that!
I work for Gamestation in Hull and I can Confirm we are taking Pre-Orders for Nuts & Bolts. Any pre orders will recieved the Banjo Kazooie Remake also. (via Code for Xbox Live). Hope this helps
I might not be too excited about Nuts & Bolts, but I will be downloading these classics - especially as they are in HD. More stuff like this please, MS.
I was never bothered about Banjo Kazooie. I weirdly saw it as a competitor to Mario so chose Mario and Mario Kart in favour of Banjo Kazooie and Diddy Kong Racing (I couldn't get both because £50-60 a game is a lot for a kid)
But not only do I want to pick this up, but I am getting a slight urge to play Nuts and Bolts. Got the November edition of Edge yesterday and flicked past a feature on Nuts and Bolts - it does look really good...need to read the article in depth now
