Force Unleashed DLC detailed

First pack out autumn, bringing Luke Skywalker and other skins
LucasArts has sent over word that it plans to release two downloadable content packs for Star Wars: Force Unleashed on 360 and PS3.

The first of the internally-developed packs will add costumes and character models to the game, including Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ki-Adi-Mundi, and Kit Fisto. These can be used in place of the Secret Apprentice while playing through the single-player campaign.

Then later in the year a second pack will be released adding a new mission set in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, where the Secret Apprentice goes to learn more about his father.

George Lucas hasn't told us about the price or exact release dates, but we'll know ahead of their release in due time. LucasArts passed over the first two shots.

Will the Jedi Temple level be similar to the Wii/PS2/PSP levels? Will we get to fight Darth Desolous and Darth Phobos?

Hopefully in the meantime they will fix that stupid *default text glitch

Forget Luke Skywalker! Where's Vader? Or the Emperor?

They need to 'patch the shit out of it' is what they do. Not just that *default text thing, but the lack of lack of force points and holocrons being recorded (which I'm fairly sure makes the holocron achievement impossible to get), not to mention the falling through scenery, enemies that stand idle and don't attack you, the general performance of the game, etc.

I do like the game, I really do, but it most definitely needed another few months of polish.

ah....so the *default text* and lack of holocron and force points recording is not just my xbox360 version? I was thinkin i had a corrupt save game or something, but was gonna finish the story before create a new one...has this happened to anyone else?

I did some digging after it happened to me and it's extremely wide spread - to the point where it's rare if you don't get it.

Sounds like it happens if you change your costume or lightsaber crystal AT ALL throughout the game. If you've anything like me, you've changed the crystals as soon as you've found em... Smile

Wow, I had no idea that bug existed. It's terrible that they can still let something like that slip through to the final release in this day and age. I luckily made it the whole way through the PS3 version, changed crystals and everything, and never encountered it. There's also apparently a bug that causes audio to cut off during cinematics, but I didn't see that one either.

I guess I was just lucky. Maybe the force was with me. (sorry Razz)

Ah, that is rubbish to here. Still, will complete the game and then maybe play through it again as am quite enjoying it despite the faults. Not had the audio bug mind...maybe it is holding off for the end of the game... Twisted Evil
