Sony still hush on LittleBigPlanet PSP

...despite Job ad backing CVG's report
Sony is still dismissing all mention of LittleBigPlanet on PSP as "rumour and speculation", despite growing evidence of Sack Boy's portable venture being a reality.

A source told CVG back in April that the innovative platformer from Media Molecule is in development for PSP.

Now a job ad spotted on a recruitment site calls for a "PSP Game Engine Lead" programmer "to work on the development of exciting new LittleBigPlanet projects".

That's pretty damn specific in our eyes. However, our queries to Sony this morning were met with a swift "no comment".

We'll be keeping an ear out for more on this one, as LittleBigPlanet looks set to go down a storm on PS3 from October 24.

They should definately make it for PSP, this game seems more suited to the PSP crowd, more than the the PS3 crowd IMO.

In an interview they've said they'd like to have the PSP as an additional platform not for a full game but for create mode-so you can create things on the move and transfer them up to your PSP. Also said they'd like to do a "make your own music".
They've also said its's not in development, they just have an interest in expanding it like this.

Obviously they can lie, i'm just adding what I found on Eurogamer Shocked

How, may I ask?
I think a lot of the things may not be possible on the PSP. For a start, sharing the user created content wouldn't be half as good on the PSP really IMO.
I see where you're coming from though to an extent...the levels themselves would be good for PSP.

I mean its jus a casual game that you would play for like half an hour, and i think the PS3 has some killer titles comin out that LBP jus wont be able to stand up against. But the PSP hardly have any good games (i think).

I love the fact that Sony are being coy about it but perhaps their coyness would work if they hadn't sent out a catalogue dvd to various stores to advertise their products. One clip clearly shows a little big planet level being edited on a psp. So clearly they intend to incorporate the PSP some way or other be it full game or edit function.

However it would be silly of Sony not to cash in on a full psp version rather than a free transfer and edit psp version
