Fancy a new game for free? Sure you do. You can now download THQ's 2004 strategy shooter, Full Spectrum Warrior from the internet - legally.
In case you never played it, FSW is a squad-based shooter in which you issue commands to a team of four soldiers, making them take cover and progress strategically through urban environments. And it's good fun.
The PC game, which was also ported to PS2 and Xbox, is now available for download on FilePlanet in a 1.62GB file. And you won't have the piracy police banging on your door.
I hate free games i can never be bothered to finish them. I might give it a go though.
I'm sorry but that is a truly incredible statement. "I hate free games". I mean...really. You hate something that is free. The concept of that is something I cannot grasp.
I tell you what I hate: I hate air. It's chuffing everywhere you just can't get away from it.
anyone downloaded the game? Definatly interested but all the comments at the bottom of the FileFront page are complaining that the CD key is still being asked for in the installation.
I have downloaded it. I started to play the training mission and there was no problem. They have added in-game advertising so I assume that is the "catch" if you like.
I never got that message and I'm in the UK. In fact, since they have worldwide download mirrors, I'd suggest you try getting the correct version for your locality.
It's ad-supported, but the ads only appear when the game is loading and you can skip them by clicking it. No matter how many times you click you only get a single browser window when you close the game, so I reckon that's worth it
