PES topples FIFA in UK chart

Konami's footy game scores in debut week
Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 has entered the UK software chart at No. 1, ending FIFA 09's two week run at the top of the table.

The PS3 version of PES 2009 accounted for 58% of sales, the Xbox 360 version for 40% and the PC edition for 2%, according to stat cruncher Chart-Track. EA's rival footy title, FIFA 09, slipped one place in the league following a 54% drop in weekly sales.

THQ's Saints Row 2 took third spot, with almost three quarters of all copies of the game sold for Xbox 360, while Lego Batman followed in fourth place and Wii Fit in fifth.

Mario Kart Wii held onto sixth place, ahead of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Wii Play, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 and Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway.

The newly released PS3 version of BioShock made its chart entry at No14.

We had access to too much money, too much equipment and, little by little, we went insane.

Not got it yet and no idea, was there one then? The Transfer day deadline transfers or late in the transfer window transfers will be in an update beginning of November from what I have read.

Strange that more sold on PS3 though, considering the number of 360's to PS3's in the UK. I would understand it in Spain due to more PS3's, but a bit odd. Maybe the 360 owners bought FIFA!!

Not an excuse for a fanboy rant either people, just a comment!!

All I'm playing on PES is Become A Legend, absolutely brilliant fun. It may even stop me playing Fable 2 this weekend or not. Thank God LBP got delayed or I'd be up a creek with no paddling equipment Smile. Although with Far Cry 2 and Dead Space this Friday and LBP just before GOW 2 it's going to be impossible to actually play all these. Has anyone got any spare cash and a way to stop time so I can play all these games?
