Saints Row 2 might have only been out a fortnight but that hasn't stopped the developer dropping word that a third version is not only on the cards - it's already in development. Volition doesn't mess about kids.
Speaking to Play, associate producer Dan Sutton explained, "Well, we knew a lot of people were upset with the last one because they were playing it and it was like "oh gosh, I've got to wait for the next one", but in SR2 we tie-up a lot of loose ends. I think we tie it up deliberately. We've already started work on Saints Row 3, and we have a new direction we want to go in with that which we of course can't talk about. We wrap up a lot in this one. There's no frustration."
Sutton added the third game will take different direction but gave no indication as to what this may be.
If you're loving Saints Row 2 and want to know what DLC plans Volition and THQ have. Look no further: "We haven't announced them yet, but we are looking at bigger stuff definitely. Like we had the ho-ho-ho pack, clothing, that kind of thing, now we're looking at multiplayer maps, another story arc, new characters. We're looking at a lot more scope, and I know we're going to come up with a lot more."
Terra Patrick could also appear in DLC. She has to. Otherwise we can categorically say the whole thing was nothing more than a cheap PR stunt, which of course it wasn't. At all.
(Perhaps I watch too little pr0n to recognize her (but more likely it's because I watch more *bizarre* pr0n than what she's usually in Smile)
What exactly are you trying to say with that comment? You start by saying you don't watch much pr0n, then you backtrack and 'casually' mention you watch lots of *bizarre* pr0n. Oh-k.
