This issue PSW exclusively reviews Call Of Duty: World At War and can reveal it's better than Modern Warfare... To find out why, buy the mag!
Modern Warfare was pretty much the best game on PS3 for the last year, it's online gameplay kept Deano, in particular, playing for months. So to hold the position that it's sequel, World At War is a better game, is surely to stir up some controversy. That's right, Treyarch has toppled Infinity Ward.
But it is. World At War takes everything great about Modern Warfare and adds to it; co-op, creative Perks, new tech (dynamic flames), more elaborate maps and the Left4Dead baiting secret game mode Nazi Zombie - all of this pushes Call Of Duty into a new direction. It was a great issue all round for PS3, with Fallout 3, MotorStorm 2 and Tomb Raider Underworld all reviewed. Not to mention Midnight Club LA, EndWar and Rock Band 2.
The issue also carries a detailed player's guide to getting the best out of Little Big Planet. We show you how to recreate some classic games from yesteryear, all in the LBP style. Read the new issue of PSW to learn how to make Space Invaders, Thrust, Donkey Kong and more!
The daddy of the issue is the exclusive review of Call Of Duty: World At War, read it now and tell us what you think!
We've been playing the whole game for over three weeks, longer than any other mag, more now in fact, so I hope the cover isn't misleading. I loved COD4, but offline it lacked depth (online was/is awesome), COD5 has co-op and offline split-screen multiplayer, which both work incredibly well.
Have to agree with the reader that said Mercs 2 was crap. I played the demo and was very disapointed, targetting was crap, so was the driving and a terrible game from what I played.
