Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts is out in Europe this Friday (and on sale now in the US) and to celebrate developer Rare is throwing down a block-building gauntlet.
On November 23 a dozen artists and designers from the UK dev, including head of design and 'Mr. Banjo' Gregg Mayles, will descend on Xbox Live multiplayer competitions between 3 and 5 pm.
Members of Banjo's dev team will be recognisable by their characters' stylish sunglasses, we're told, and you'll also unlock a special Achievement just for battling them. That's worth turning up for, isn't it? Although you'll never beat them. They'll know ALL the tricks.
It really is a shame that there are people who are afraid of change when they are partaking in products from an industry that thrives on change.
Especially these so called hardcore bastards.
If they were really hardcore there'd see change as a good thing. If gaming hadn't changed over the years we'd all still be playing 2d platformers, on really basic pads on even simpler machines.
Huzzah to rare for daring to do something different!

The underlying thing I keep hearing is that this is not a platformer.

Change is fine - the problem is that the new BK just isn't that great, especially when compared to the older titles.

Your right,nice try though Rare.
Too many better games around at the moment, still look forward to playing a second hand copy next year,a lot of the reviews are saying the novelty soon wears off with the vehicles and your left with an empty game, shame.
