Michael Phelps game in the works

Record-breaking gold medallist swimmer, in case you didn't know
After motor-boating his way to record-breaking eight gold medals in this year's Beijing Olympics, it'll come as no surprise that US swimmer Michael Phelps is set to get his own game.

The news was apparently broke on US show 60 Minutes, during a profile on the athlete, although no gameplay details or release was given.

Having received an early promo copy of Call of Duty: World at War from Activision on telly, and featured in the advertisements for Activision's Guitar Hero: World Tour, we'd be surprised if the publisher wasn't involved in the game in some way.

We're hoping for a full Olympics game though, because we can't imagine a dedicated swimming game being too thrilling.

Obviously signed on a dev team with no shame. Like honestly, why even bother? They should just quit now before they waste their, and everyone else's, time.

By the time it comes out nobody will really care about Michael Phelps anymore, and no doubt the game will be total s**t.
