Microsoft has let us know that the first game to be added onto the Xbox Live servers this year will be 'Interpol'. Don't worry if you've never heard of it, we hadn't either.
From the short video and handful of shots on Microsoft's site, Interpol looks like some sort of crazy, point and click investigation game. Looks more like hard work to us than fun, but each to their own.
Here's some official blurb:
"Calling all agents, do you have what it takes to track down an evil fugitive? Interpol is seeking your investigative expertise in an international effort to capture the destructive Dr. Chaos. 'Interpol' is making its way to Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday, January 7 at 9 a.m. GMT (2:00 a.m. PDT).
"As an elite operative, it is your mission to traverse Dr. Chaos' trail of corruption and eradicate the crooked renegade in an around-the-world adventure. From San Francisco to Cairo, use your keen investigative skills to quickly gather evidence and uncover hidden objects needed to bring him and his criminal accomplices to justice.
"Examine elaborate crime scenes, solve hundreds of puzzles, outsmart clever mini-games and revisit exotic locations to seek ever-changing clues and unlock top secret files. Plus, you can join forces with other players around the world, completing missions with up to four fellow Interpol agents via Xbox Live to swiftly oust the world's most wanted."
i would love to see a updated version of the original Sega Rally, Daytona or Scud Race. I still play both rally and daytona on the saturn, but a live version with tarted up visuals and online play would be ace. i'd rather that than Outrun

scud race, now theres another good idea. id be happy with a straight arcade port like the PS2 received with sega rally 2006, the japanese version came with an arcade perfect sega rally bonus disk. surely that could be done again with the 360 with online leaderboards! daytona could have epic multiplayer races just like in the arcades! they dont even need to do anything to the game just upscale the res to 720p like they are doing with outrun! lets hope outrun is a success and they do more, it may be a tester seeing as its probably dead easy to port across outrun 2006 to the 360
CVG are worse than MS for wasting server space on this non-story.

It may not be available as an XBLA game but sega have already made a remake of sega rally for the 360 with tarted up visuals.

absolutely no info on anything is better than the cold hard facts of this s**tE!!! if it werent for it being the first XBLA game of 2009, then we wouldnt have heard anything about it at all!
and a bit of mystery is always good, especially regarding a supposedly big ps3 exclusive about to appear. makes a talking point.
(who is talking about this?! - not a single person in a topic all about it!)
