Media Molecule released a huge patch for LittleBigPlanet (version 1.07) before Christmas which fixed and improved a lot. Other stuff, it broke. But Media Molecule is working on it.
SCEA marketing manger Mark Valledor has confirmed that another pending update is being cooked up to fix issues in the aftermath of 1.07.
These issues weren't specified, but we know some were having problems with save data and DLC over Christmas, it'll hopefully sort that out.
Valledor also offers a temporary fix for those getting a "full profile" message: "For those of you experiencing the 'Full Profile' message, since the issue revolves around the amount / complexity of the community objects in your Popit tool, for now your best bet is to delete a chunk of unwanted objects from your inventory."
On a more positive note, weekly DLC releases for the game will commence from January 22, Valledor promising "new stuff, returning stuff and big surprises".
And if you haven't downloaded the new Metal Gear DLC, you should. It's brilliant.
Good, not downloaded the MGS pack yet because of the problems some people having.
ON that note can some one answer me this question
I have not downloaded the pack, and while online was unable to play peoples games using the MGS items and level stuff (obviously)...EXCEPT i did get to play two levels by the same creator call Splat invaders and Splat Invaders Adv )or somit like that)...dont think there was any MGS licsense content int there..but the Paintball guns were...HOW was I able to play it with out downloading the DLC for the gun? does this mean that the data for the guns is uploaded with the level...or does it mean that this data was hidden on my copy of the game and is just unlocked by the DLC?
(its mint like, made me decide im defo getting the packs)
The guns are part of the actual LBP tool set so anyone can play the levels with them but to own one to create your own levels you need to buy them via the MGS pack, although i'm not sure if they can be given away as prize bubbles i haven't seen a level with one in.
