Fresh from CES 2009 in Las Vegas, here's a bramd new trailer for the biggest PSP game of the year, Sony's Resistance Retribution.

The handheld shooter bridges the plot between the two PS3 Resistance games, with players taking the role of former British Marine James Grayson, as mankind sets about retaking the European continent from the Chimera.

Eight player multiplayer is promised, with five game modes making up the roster.

It's down for release this spring. See the video below...

Resistance 1 was a bout as fun as chlamydia.

Resistance 2 was as boring as hell.

So I doubt this will be any different. Bravo Sony. Your franchise is crap.

But I also think this game is gonna be rubbish too.
The PSP needs needs 2 analog sticks and 4 shoulder buttons.

Although I hated the FOM demo (I didn't even bother finishing it) this looks OK. A FPS shooter on a portable console sounds like a great idea and games like Metroid and Call Of Duty on the DS have proved it's possible. If it's good I might just persuade my brother to get this.
