New Gears 2 Achievements detailed

For Flashback and Combustible map packs
More information has emerged on the promised Gears of War 2 patch - or the extra Achievements you should expect, anyway.

Seven new multiplayer-focused Achievements (or 175G worth) have just turned up on Xbox.com, suggesting that the title update isn't too long away. Each focuses on winning games in the Flashback and Combustible map packs, so you'll have to get your Microsoft Points out to unlock the lot of them either way.

A for the title update, that fixes "a whole bunch of online exploits" and Epic's also "making several small changes to improve the overall online gameplay experience." Read more about that here.

The update's said to be out in January.

Thanks for the spot, X3F.

Hopefully it'll sort out the people who seem to be able to use a human shield and shotgun at the same time. that really p**sed me off last night whilst playing submission(i liked the meat-flag name better).

I was just about to say something similar. I don't see why I should buy more maps for a game I can't play online apart from Horde. Very disappointed. I may just go back to Halo 3 or CoD4.

i haven't really had much problems getting a game but then again i only play a few games a week so maybe i've just been lucky that way. unfortunately its glitchers and games with bad lag i've had the problems with. glitchers just make you not want to play the game.
for me it'd be back to Bad Company. i've never had any probs with that game (unlike COD4 and Halo), it always runs as smooth as and there's no cheatin bastards in it either.

EPIC should give up on Gears 2. It's flawed/bugged beyond all hope. Ditch it and make Gears 3

It seems to be whenever you try to join matchmaking by yourself that the problems occur. If you're in a party of 2-4, it's not as bad. Most of the times when I'm on my own I'm waiting 10+ minutes for a game.

yeah i never play gears by myself. i always make sure i've got a few friends playing at the same time. that'll be how i've never had the long wait.

Haven't had a problems either way, but online I've played Hoarde about 99% of the time anyway.

And hoarde was awful for the first week or so.
