UTIII PS3 patch is live now

Epic has pressed the Go button on the huge DLC pack for the PS3 version of Unreal Tournament III.

The patch was delayed from its original March 5 release back to March 19, apparently owing to the certification process taking longer than expected.

Update 2: Epic has contacted CVG to clarify that the patch released doesn't include the Titan DLC Pack content - namely the new maps or the Titan Mutator. That's still scheduled for March 19. We've changed the list below to exactly what you get in this week's patch. Update ends.

As Tawkn reports, the 93MB patch is now live and ready to be leeched.

Here's the (now accurate) list of added features:

• Split-screen support
  
• Integrated mod browser
  
• PS3 Trophies
  
• Major visual and menu flow overhaul for improved usability
  
• Significant AI improvements, especially in vehicle gametypes
  
• Improved networking performance
  
• Improved mod support
