An animator for U.K.-based LEGO games developer TT Games has inadvertently confirmed that LEGO Indiana Jones 2 and LEGO Harry Potter are currently in development.
The animator's CV says she is "...Currently working as a Cutscene Animator on LEGO Harry Potter & LEGO Indiana Jones 2 : The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull which are both in the early stages of production."
This is not the first time that word of LEGO Harry Potter or a new LEGO Indiana Jones has circulated the web. Following the firing of LucasArts employees last year, some leaked the existence of LEGO Indiana Jones 2. LEGO Harry Potter has been rumored for months.
Unfortunately, the TT staffer appears to be catching flak for leaking the information. A source, a former TT staffer who wished to remain anonymous, said that "TT [Games] is not happy" about the slip.
Information about the games has since been removed from the CV, although the text is still cached in Google.
On an official basis, however, the games are still unconfirmed by Warner-owned TT Games.
How exactly does information like that "accidentally" get sent out? If I was him, I'd be suing whatever company "leaked" my CV. And if it was TT Games browsing for more staff, giving him hassle for it is the worst possible thing they could do to avoid the limelight.
if they're gonna throw out a Lego Indiana Jones KotCS surely it would have been easier to just do it as DLC for the first game. there's no way they could release another game the same size as the first as the film certainly wouldn't flesh out to a full game.
The Indy game will be like the Starwars Complete saga (though no where near as good).
SW:TCS was fanatastic and the other games just haven't captured the same spirit or enjoyability. Please try something new like the Lego MMO that occasionally is mentioned.
Hmm, interesting to see how 1 Indy film will be streached for a whole Lego game rather then 3. Many they ll adapt some of that Young Indiana Jones TV Series?
