Some not-so-revealing footage of what is supposedly a campaign beta version of Halo 3: ODST has surfaced.
It's not as exciting as we'd have hoped - it simply shows a few boot-up logos and then the title screen with some Halo music in the background. No gameplay or anything.
Of course, our reaction is the same as yours - "OMG teh fakezoRs", or something to that effect. But if it is a fake, it's a very well-done fake we must admit.
But you know you'll watch the video (above) a few dozen times now because you want it so bad, don't you. Yes, you do.
I think this is going to give MW2 a run for it money in the Gaming for Fun category. Really liking the direction they are taking with the expansion and cant wait till E3 to get some 'real gameplay'!
That person really knows how to work those menus. If it is a fake it’s a decent one, especially with the Bungie style prose for the warning before hand. Though that is ultimately pointless, what is a video of a menu going to do?

Course it does. I was just commenting on the darker, more gritty approach. And the lightning reminded me of Killzone 2.
Anyway, like you say, to get excited by a menu is desperate times indeed.
Couldn't give a s**t whether this is fake or not, just can't wait for E3 and some true in-game footage of what is going to be one of the most eagerly awaited games of the year.
I'd be surprised if this wasn't fake! It looks professional, but it says multiplayer, custom games, etc... on the menu, n I just can't see them bothering to put them in considering theres no multiplayer!!! *Ditto to Tonyb*

There is multiplayer. It's Halo 3 multiplayer which you will have access to even if you don't have Halo 3.
