Sam Fisher can remain in hiding no longer and the the time has come for Ubisoft to show us (absolutely nothing of) Splinter Cell: Conviction via one if its 'teaser trailers'.
There's not much point going into detail as there aren't any but you get to hear Sam Fisher talking about the pickle he's landed himself him, Jack Bauer style. We're looking forward to E3 when we get proper trailers.

Please be dark and stealthy, please be dark and stealthy, please be dark and stealthy...
Yeah, I hope Splinter Cell goes back to its roots too. The teaser trailer starts with dark side of Earth showing, maybe this is a hint that there will be dark and stealthy levels eh? I hope so...
IMO I don't hope it is all that dark and stealthy.
Come on Ubisoft already perfected the 'dark and stealthy' concept with Chaos Theory (well Ubisoft Montreal did, their Shanghi department need to get their act together).
I'm all for them trying something new, 'light and stealthy' cause that's alot harder to pull off.
I mean the big let-down with Double Agent was the fact that the Xbox version (not 360) got a far better storyline than the PC/360/PS3, also the game on any platform was buggy as hell.
Double Agent (like Pandora Tomorrow) was done by Ubisoft Shanghi, this game is being done by Ubisoft Montreal who did the original and Chaos Theory, so we're in safe hands.

Very true, if there is one Ubi studio that can pull this off, it's Ubi Montreal.
It's very disconnected from the rest of the EU and hardly any monitoring by the government is done (so Sam Fisher could reside quietly without being tracked), yet it is a well developed country.
So if you're on the run, I'd suggest you giving Malta a visit. Not me though, I hate visitors.

Glad to hear it. Double Agent was so ridiculously buggy - and what's worse: it wasn't patched properly either - I was doubting I'd ever return to the series.
