Xbox launch titles confirmed for US

Microsoft enters the power hour: Xbox launches in three days time in the States with the software line-up of justice
While Microsoft still refuses to confirm how many units will be available at launch, there's no stopping a runaway train: the American retail introduction of Xbox is now a mere three days away. This Thursday, Americans will be able to walk into stores and pick-up their Xbox hardware and games, marking a dramatic change in the direction of Microsoft as a company and changing the face of the console world forever.

The complete launch line-up was confirmed today, with few surprises. Four first-party titles will launch alongside the machine, as well as 14 third-party efforts. Europe is likely to see a similar number of games launch with Xbox on March 14 next year.

According to US sources over the weekend, as many as 27,000 hardware units a day are being manufactured at Microsoft's plant in Guadalajara in Mexico.

Here are the games. From the looks of the US reviews, Bungie first-person shooter Halo's the one to watch. We'll have full impressions and shots in the coming days.
