E3: Red Steel 2 to come with MotionPlus

Slash 'em up will come with Wii Remote add-on
Ubisoft has confirmed that Red Steel 2 will be bundled with MotionPlus when it comes out, which will be out for Christmas.

The MotionPlus slash 'em up was demoed live at Ubisoft's E3 Media briefinglast night and looked impressive. Red Steel 2 creative director Jason Vandenberge showed off the game's opening section where our hero is draggeed along the ground and then thrust into battle.

Then we saw our protagonist take on a rather tall chap with a massive hammer who will eventually be a boss in the final game. Swordplay in both defense and attack looked very good indeed. Videos soon.

Really happy about this as I didn't want to buy it without a game to go with and Wii Sports Resort just does not float my boat. Aside from the appalling script and voice acting, I think the first one was rather good.

Same here. I thought the first Red Steel was good, not great, but good. I was thinking it a no brainer to include MotionPlus with the sequel. Glad they are now Smile
