Koei's screenshot man has bagged himself some over time and used all of it to pump out some serious screenshotage over the weekend.

Here's the company line:

Set in the best-selling world of Dynasty Warriors, this is no straight forward brawl. For the first time ever in a Warriors game you get the opportunity to play as either a ruler or an officer. You can choose to be the all powerful decision maker who combines politics and tactics to achieve the ultimate goal or the warrior who carries out those orders and turns strategic planning into battlefield glory.

All it revolves around is hammering square, and occasionally using circle for the special move. I should know, I used to own DW3, 4 and 5 on PS2, and they were all incredibly boring. Plus, the pop-up on PS3 is just atrocious. I thought all of this was going to be ironed out for the new generation, but obviously not.

Why not evolve the series?
weapons that level up
animals to fight as well as people
and cahnge the setting too

No other series has got away with releasing the same game with a few added extras for so long
