Sony has put out a survey asking gamers which new features they'd most like to see in PS3's virtual socialising app, Home.
The ability to share music and video from your hard drive are two of the more interesting features suggested on the survey, which also asks if user would like live streaming video, voice chat through Home or better clubhouses.

Many of the features mentioned were originally promised for Home before it was released, such as the ability to show off your trophy collection in Home (with a full 3D cabinet in your Home apartment, if we recall correctly). What happened to that?

Come on Sony get your finger out, private video/photo/music streaming was one of the great things that was shown when you first showed home.
I know what they are holding back on though, before long it'll have porno users that stream naughty movies in their personal spaces!

Home is a complete crock, and I'm a right fanboy. There's no purpose to it at all. Like the above, the only thing that sounded promising was displaying trophies. Although come to think of it, no point to that either, can you really be bothered to load home at all these days? It's a waste of time and sonys attempt to jump on the Avatar bandwagon. Get rid of it, give us some decent pulsing backgrounds while music plays instead. To misquote Cartman - "Screw you guys, I'm (not) going Home."
