Command & Conquer 4 announced (oops)

Accidental outing of RTS sequel via Twitter
It seems someone at EA got a little too Twitter-happy last night, prematurely tweeting the announcement of the development of Command & Conquer 4.

"EA Los Angeles announces the development of Command & Conquer 4," read the now-deleted post from an 'EA_UK_PR', followed by a link to a press release that didn't exist, according to reports.

No further details were given, but a recent survey on the game touted RPG-like player progression, co-op play and "new stylised, live-action cinematics".

Expect a properly-planned announcement very soon.

It is good news I just hope they improve on C&C 3 because much as it was fun at times it got real tedius because depending what faction you were it seemed you would either be defensive or offensive.

Like we didn't see this coming!

Yeah it's EA I'll be more surprised when they don't follow up an IP with a new version.
