Shirley Manson, lead singer with Garbage, will appear as a playable character in Guitar Hero 5.

In the game you'll be able to sing along with Manson to Only Happy When It Rains from the band's eponymous debut album, says Activision.

In the behind the scenes video below, Shirley said: "I really love Guitar Hero. I'm thrilled to be one of two girls in it.
