See spectacular-looking A Crack in Time in motion
Here's seven minutes of gorgeous Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time footage - and if you're not totally satisfied, some screenshots as well.

The second retail PS3 entry will, according to the official blurb, conclude the events that began in Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction and downloadable Quest for Booty.

"Expect all the laughs and witty banter of a Ratchet and Clank title, as you enjoy all-new space gameplay that gives players the opportunity to engage in space battles, explore the surrounding star system, and discover hidden items and collectables," says Insomniac.

It's out on October 30 - and we'll be buying it. Oh yes.

looking good

It looks ace. It bears a small similarity to Mario Galaxy, with the small spherical worlds that you can land on.

The space battles look really cool and offer a bit of freedom that the first PS3 game lacked.

Another must have for Christmas. Smile And it gives me time to flog Uncharted 2 for all it's worth!

I wonder why Insomniac can make R&C games look so good, whereas Resistance 2 was shockingly bland!

Well Ratchet and clank done that first, just look at R&C 2 but thats another argument. Personally even though Im 27 years old I love R&C and really looking forward to another game.
At the start of the series I preferred Jak and daxter as a platformer but it went to s**t and r&C went from strength to strength. I will most likely buy this

I bought Tools of Destruction a few weeks back. My first experience of R&C. I love it, but i have one huge complaint. The space flying sections don't give you the opportunity to invert controls. So it was just a nightmare to play and i got no enjoyment from it what so ever. They better fix that on this game if they have flying sections!!

Why bring your age into it? - I'm 36 and I love Mario Galaxy with a passion. I'm also really enjoying the ultra-cute Mini Ninjas. - Don't ever be embarrassed about playing cartoony, brightly coloured games. Games are games as far as I'm concerned.

Well its not so much the graphics than the humour. I have seen the R&C series get kinda more kiddie in that area. Still great games

Yeah it's the same for me, I love the R&C games but when the cringingly immature jokes hit I just want to turn it off.
