Treyarch has revealed details for a hefty patch for the PC version of Call of Duty: World at War, due for release this week.
Highlights of the patch include three new multiplayer maps - Battery, Breach and Revolution - and a new zombie level called Der Riese. The patch also squashes a few bugs.

Favorites list now ignores filter settings.
Fixed S&D round counting error when roundlimit is reached.

Friends list: green online indicator.
Starting the game in Safe Mode will no longer toggle the "Soften Smoke Edges" graphic option.
Fixed various crashes.
Mods: Client will no longer join a modded Co-op server via Game Invite unless they have that mod loaded.
Mods: Client running a mod will be asked to unload the mod if they attempt to join an unmodded server.
Mods: All singleplayer levels can now be run with a mod loaded.
I have to say they are doing a pretty damn good job with this game in terms of free stuff. If you look at COD 4 we only received a few things and nowhere near this much support. That said I suspect this is getting pushed out prior to MW2 because everyone will be shifting to that soon.
