Daft Punk joins DJ Hero line-up

Daft Punk are the latest artists to join the bustling line-up of DJ Hero, which arrives in shops next month.

The famous twosome will provide their sounds in eleven mixes of the game's total 93, says Activision, including two signature "Megamixes"... whatever they are.

"This is the first time in a video game that fans will have this kind of direct interaction with Daft Punk while also experiencing never-before-released mixes that feature some of their most popular tracks," says Guitar Hero VP Tim Riley.

thats a bit more like it. pretty dull that its all premixed mashups though. that should have been your job, mixing them at will.

great live act, on their sequencer. deep rock riffs blended and spliced with funky dance loops.

This has taken DJ Hero from a maybe to a must buy now for me.
Especially after watching the vids on youtube.

I have to admit, that actually looks like fun! I haven't played any of the Rock band games before, but maybe I should give them a try.

Finally, a proper artist and songs included in the game! Except they still go and ruin it by mixing them with 'normal' songs.

What they need to do is bring out another version of the game completely mashed & mixed up by The Cut Up Boys; now that I would buy and that would sell by the bucketload Wink
